Sam

Where does a friendship begin? A relationship, on its most human level.
Sam and I crossed paths on a serendipitous trip to Palm Springs, introduced through a mutual friend. From there, our bond deepened through architecture and art—a connection formed through art fairs.

Outside Los Angeles, in the mountains where spring rain awakens hidden creeks, one can uncover beauty that feels both intimate and untouched. If you know where to look, you’ll encounter something wonderful: the pure, unguarded beauty of naked men in nature.

When this project first took shape, I knew Sam would embrace the idea with his natural curiosity and openness. I kept the vision close, revealing little, and together we allowed it to unfold. There’s a rare magic in him—something vibrant and wholly unique.

As we ventured into the mountains, the sun dipped low. It had been months since I’d last been here, and we struggled to find the right path. The area teems with wildlife, and the rugged terrain—and the presence of actual bears—are reminders of why you don’t want to be there after dark. These elements became as much a part of our experience as the project we set out to create.

This work holds deep personal meaning. I initially released versions, testing the waters, and, after time, I found a way for Gay TV to be shown publicly. I hope that some can connect to the journey, perhaps even catching a glimpse of how I see beauty and the world around us.
